Mask Expectations

Mask Expectations at WMS

Students are expected to follow the three W’s while at WMS: Wear a mask, watch your distance, wash your hands. Parents/guardians will be responsible for providing cloth face coverings that follow Larimer County health guidance and cover the nose and mouth.

 

Masks  

  • Mask must be worn anytime you are in the building 

  • Masks must be worn properly, completely covering nose and mouth 

  • It is important that you chose a mask that fits properly  

  • Failure to wear mask properly is a dress code violation  

Mask Breaks 

  • With teacher direction, mask breaks will be taken outside 

  • Students must maintain six feet distance 

  • Students should wash/sanitize hands before and after each mask break 

Wearing a Mask = In Person Learning  

Cloth Face Coverings Should

  • Be clean and in good repair.

  • Fit snugly, but comfortably against the side of the face.

  • Be secure.

  • Include multiple layers of fabric.

  • Allow for breathing without restriction.

  • Be able to be laundered and machine dried.

  • Be on the wearer's face.

  • Be laundered on a daily basis.

Cloth Face Coverings Should Not

  • Have anything hanging off the facial covering that would create a food safety hazard.

  • Have holes or tears.

  • Masks should not be shared with others.
