October Guidance - Phase 3
Planning reflects the State of Colorado’s Safer at Home guidance. Phase plans will continue to develop as we monitor public health conditions in our community.
Middle School Plan
-
Grade 6 Transition: A group will go to school in-person for a full transition day Oct. 19; B group will go to school in-person for a full transition day Oct. 20; grade 7 and 8 are in remote education both days.
-
Grades 6-8 in Phase 3 on Wednesday, October 21.
-
Grades 7 and 8 start Phase 3, with A group in each grade attending in-person Oct. 21 (6th grade is also included); B group will be in remote education Oct. 21 (6th grade is also included).
A/B Grouping
-
A/B group placement for K-12 students is available in ParentVUE and StudentVUE as well as AdminVUE. There are no A/B groupings for preschool. Early Childhood Education will continue communicating directly with its families.
Transportation
-
Transportation staff are working hard to get routes designed and students assigned to routes for our K-2 restart on Oct 5th and the remaining students on October 19th.
-
When routes are ready to be shared with the community, families will be provided with their transportation information and shared with schools.
-
It is likely that K-2 (maybe K-5) families will be notified first, next week, then 6-12 in the following weeks leading up to Oct 19th.
