School Accountability Committee (SAC)

The Wellington Middle-High School "School Accountability Committee" or S.A.C. is designed to advise and recommend to the principal in the following areas:

  • recommend to the principal school priorities for spending school funds
  • send copy of recommendations to the District Accountability Committee (DAC), when appropriate
  • advise regarding school improvement plan or performance plan
  • engage in quarterly discussions regarding school progress in implementing accreditation plan
  • assist in preparation of School Improvement Plan (SIP), depending on state rating
  • advise and recommend
  • study/learn together about emerging trends/issues in education that may impact or could impact our school
