Jaelyn Manzanares

Assistant Principal

Jaelyn Manzanares, a Pueblo, Colorado native, began teaching Business and Marketing at Rocky Mountain High School in 2017. She has been an advisor and sponsor for several clubs such as DECA, FBLA, and GSA. Jaelyn also coached softball and baseball at Rocky before welcoming her daughter Layton in 2019. Jaelyn served students, families and staff as dean of students beginning in 2021. Jaelyn graduated from CSU, where she played softball, and later received her Master’s from Fort Hays State University.

Jaelyn is passionate about partnering with students and their families in exploring viable paths towards future dreams. Jaelyn is a relationship focused educator and works diligently to establish trusting relationships within her communities. She believes strongly in nurturing a safe community that supports academic and social success for all members. In her free time, Jaelyn enjoys spending time with her family, and going to concerts. Jaelyn is ecstatic to join the Wellington community.
